• Do I have to order in case quantity?

Most items can be ordered in less than case quantities. Concrete Test Cylinders are only sold in case quantity.
Note: There may be a $75.00 handling fee for ordering in less than case quantity.

• Do your products meet ASTM standards?

Our products meet or exceed the ASTM specification where a standard exist. Please see our Certifications for product specific ASTM certifications.

• What colors do the test cylinders come in?

Test Cylinders are available in gray and white.

• Do I need to order through a distributor or can I by directly from M.A.?

We sell all of our products directly.

• Is the steel used in your products made in the U.S.A.?

The steel used in our products is 100% U.S. steel. We receive certified mill specifications with every shipment.

• Do you accept credit cards for payment of invoices?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. Please fill out our credit card authorization form for approval to pay by credit card or call (800) 241-8250 to request approval.

• What is OSHA's clarification of Fixed Ladders relative to Manhole (rungs) Steps?

OSHA Directive 1-1.9-29 CFR 1910.27 is specific to "Fixed Ladders". OSHA does not view Manhole Steps as Fixed Ladders. OSHA follows ASTM C478 for standards on Manhole Steps.

• Is the material used in manhole steps recycled material?

Yes, we use recycled material to produce our Manhole Steps that are black in color. The material is tested on a regular basis to insure our material standards are met.

• Are your disposable cylinder molds recyclable?

Yes, they are recyclable. Polypropylene is recyclable materials with #5 recycle number.

• What is the print area for your printed cylinders?

  For our 6"x12" cylinders, a 7"x7" area can be used for customizing the cylinders. On our 4"x8" cylinders, the print area is 5"x5".
