How to Prepare & Test M.A. Industries Concrete Cylinder Molds

For consistent quality, MA Industries’ plastic disposable concrete test cylinder molds are as good as it gets. Available in four sizes 6” x 12”, 4” x 8”, 3’ x 6” and 2’ x 4”, MA molds enjoy an excellent reputation for maintaining its shape and ease of stripping. To meet the exact standards of ASTM and AASHTO requirements, we go to extra lengths to monitor raw materials and production processes to ensure a quality product. Different types of reusable lids are available for all size molds as well as stripping tools, mold carrier and poly bags.

MA Industries also manufactures rubber breaking pads and restraining dishes. Like our cylinder molds, MA’s Pad-Cap System is made of quality materials and made to exacting standards. Neoprene breaking pads are precision molded distributing the load evenly over the concrete test cylinder to assure consistent and accurate breaks. The dishes are machined to precise measurements from solid steel conforming to ASTM A576 and SAE1117 and zinc plated to prevent corrosion. Pads are available in 6”, 4” and 3” sizes and in 50, 60 and 70 durometer and meet specifications of ASTM C1231. Both pads and dishes meet AASHTO T 22.
